Ashfield Park Camping at Lake Nillahcootie . No camping is permitted on the shores of Lake Nillahcootie, Ashfield Park private camping reserve will be open in November 2010 ready for the Summer. Ashfield Park is situated 2 km north of the boat launching ramp at Lake Nillahcootie and boarders the Nillahcootie national park. The park is under development currently and will have limited amenities, but will have access to the beautiful Broken River and Lake Nillahcootie national Park. There are swimming holes and a small waterfall as the water flows over the granite river floor. Fishing is a must as red fin and Yellow belly are regularly caught in the deep holes of the Broken River. This sensational park is set on 12 acres, of rolling hills leading to the banks of the Broken River.
